Located in Mooresville, North Carolina, we are a large and active pack. We are chartered to Williamson’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Our membership is currently 70+ boys coming from Lake Norman Elementary and several other Mooresville/Lake Norman area schools. Our leaders are trained and dedicated to producing a quality program for the boys and their families.
We camp several times per year in the fall and spring, hold Pinewood Derby races, go on field trips, attend baseball games, and races at Lowe’s Motor Speedway and conduct summer time activities. We also have the Trails End Boy Scout Popcorn sale and other fund raisers to support Pack activities.
Each June, our Scouts attend the Gemstone District Daycamp. Camping and family activities are available to the Scout and family at several District and Council camping facilities.
Cub Scout Pack 171 is part of the Gemstone District and Piedmont Council in North Carolina.
